Materials for Food Belting

TCI’s belting materials for food and packaging are designed to meet the challenges of temperature, corrosion, and wear and tear, in order to minimize costly downtime, and maximize run time. TCI offers belting materials for use in sealing machines, contact grilling applications, industrial conveying and food processing.

TCI belting materials feature corrosion-resistance and compliance with the FDA Standard 21 CFR 177.1550 for food contact. These materials are compatible with any chemical environment and are easy to clean and unaffected by cleaning chemicals.

Our belting materials include:

PTFE Tortilla Press Belting
TCI’s Hybrid™ belting material is the first new product to be introduced to the tortilla industry in 20 years, proving itself to be the highest quality and longest lasting material technology available

Filmlam™ Food Belting
Filmlam food belting is a PTFE film laminate for industrial and food applications. PTFE films are laminated to each side of a PTFE-coated fiberglass reinforcement. Many film variations allow for changes in properties such as heat transfer, release capability, and wear resistance.

CrossFilm™ Food Belting
CrossFilm Food Belting is an all-PTFE material designed for contact grilling applications. Since the material is 100% PTFE, it is guaranteed to be corrosion-free. By eliminating the concern for corrosion, CrossFilm food belting performance is reliable and predictable; costly and unplanned down-time from random belt failure is avoided. The flexible, tear resistant material is available in thicknesses ranging from 0.015" (0.38 mm) to 0.018" (0.46 mm).

Hybrid™ Food Belting
This laminated PTFE/fiberglass conveyor belt is designed to survive severe oil exposure and mechanical wear and tear in food stamping and other contact conveying processes. With adhesion properties significantly better than typical PTFE-coated fiberglass materials, Hybrid belting product will not delaminate or blister.

Texcoat™ Food Belting
A PTFE-coated fiberglass fabric for industrial and food applications, the Texcoat product line is at home in extreme thermal conditions, harsh chemical environments and applications where release or clean-ability is essential.

Sealing Belts
The revolutionary design of Hybrid™ Sealing Belts provide the first major improvement in sealing belts in over 20 years. This advanced technology creates a longer-lasting and wear-resistant belt, allowing for faster and more efficient lines.
